【法】 temporary insanity; insanity [mental impairment, mental incapacity] 《at the time of an offense》.

●心神喪失状態にある be non compos (mentis); be not of sound mind.

●犯行時心神喪失と判定され無罪となった. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity at the time of the crime.
